Every year I get so excited to share my favorite holiday gifts for cooks. It’s an annual AM Northwest segment that I have been doing for probably 10 years. Searching high and low for the perfect items is my favorite part!
Are you looking for the perfect gift, for someone who loves to cook or spends hours in the kitchen? If so, check my list out!
Here is the link to this years segment: http://katu.com/amnw/am-northwest-lifestyle-health/great-gifts-for-cooks, and here is my list in no particular order:
Chantal Vintage Tea Kettle in Aqua: How cute is this color? This aqua tea kettle is adorable, and would look great in any kitchen! It also comes in other colors, and is perfect for the tea and coffee lovers in your life. Also an amazing 10-inch heavy-duty skillet and 5 quart sauteuse pan from Chantal. They are fantastic, heavy and made from Japanese stainless steel. They are also induction ready and the nonstick skillet has a ceramic coating.
Celadon green glass knobs & pulls for kitchen cabinets: These gorgeous knobs are from House of Antique Hardware. They have gorgeous glass knobs in many colors and styles. This is a perfect gift for someone that wants an easy way to dress up their kitchen, without the hassle of a full makeover. Definitely check them out!
GoWise USA Air Fryers: The GoWise Air Fryers are the bomb, and something I use in my kitchen almost every day. The large 5.8 quart is fantastic if you’re cooking for 2 plus people (or a family), and the small size is perfect for 1 to 2 or for travel. Yes, believe it or not, I often travel with one. They also have some adorable new retro colors coming soon too.
Breville Smoking Gun: Looking for a way to smoke your Soy Curls, popcorn, potato chips, or pot pies? Well now you can easily do it without a bulky smoker! The Smoking Gun is easy to use, and will easily smoke whatever you fancy, from soup to nuts.
Breville Crispy Crust Pizza Countertop Pizza Oven: I love this sweet pizza oven! It has two heating elements (top and bottom), creating a nice and crispy crust, and bubbling melting cheese on the top. It’s incredible for both regular and gluten-free pizzas, and does an amazing job melting vegan cheese.
Nutrimill: This grain mill is fantastic, fits easily on your countertop and will grind beans and legumes as easily as grains. If you are gluten-free, this makes it even easier to have flours at the ready. Also, hello red lentil and chickpea flour! Choose from super-fine pastry flour to cracked cereal grains. Now Designs Vintage-Inspired Casserole Dishes, Mugs, Napkins, Coasters, Mixing Bowls and more. I can’t even begin to share how much I adore their designs! I want one of everything they make. The link above has lots of products on Amazon, but they have even more than those listed there. If you live in Portland, Oregon, New Seasons Market carries costs of their designs.
Ball Canning Jars: Canning jars are a perfect gift for holiday giving. You can fill them up with everything from tea to coffee and homemade jam, sauces, salsas, spice blends and more! The best part is that the jars can be re-used after the gift has been enjoyed and used.
Happy Holidays!
