Have you tried our new Brownie Mix yet? If not, you’ve got to give it a try. The brownies are both fudgy and chewy, the best of all worlds. People are shocked that they’re gluten-free (and vegan too!). Plus, you can add all sorts of fun additions, like dried cherries, fresh or frozen raspberries, peppermint extract… The possibilities are endless!
The brownies above are made with a 1/2 cup dairy-free semisweet chocolate chips, which are stirred into the uncooked batter. I then frosted the brownies with my fluffy buttercream, but used a touch of peppermint extract instead of the lemon oil. Peppermint oil will work too. Alternately, skip the peppermint buttercream and add the peppermint extract or oil to the brownie batter.
